I haven't even heard PRR. Robert and David suggested putting her in the game, so I did for diversity.

Confused

One of the vocalists, Chloe. Our current round is Females in Prog, so that's what James was referring to, because she was in the list of people on there.

Only I don't know PRR so it wasn't my suggestion. I didn't even know they had a female vocalist.

Ah I see.

She's one of the Bright Ambassadors of Boring.

After the mixed extremist views of PRR, I'm not sure IF I want to hear them or not, haha.

I wish I could even find something objectively good to say about them, but there was absolutely nothing compelling in that record I heard.  Dreadful, would have gotten 1 star if I wanted to review it.

And if you know me, there's not many albums I detest like that.

They're good musicians and Chloe can sing.

It's just they're compositions are awful.

But you make like them... David sounds like he does.

There's enough people that like them, though, that you (Alex) should hear them.  If you like them, more power to you.

Yeah, that is surprising. Hmm... well, I'll pass judgment on it one of these days.

I may; we'll find out.

David likes them alot, yes. Our tastes are pretty similar, but not entirely matched either. I lean towards RIO more and he leans towards metal.

I still can't stand Between the Buried and Me and he loves them. I'll have to give them another try soon too.

I've not either.

Really the two that spring to mind are the PRR album and Spock's Beard debut.

They are 1 star efforts that I never want to hear again, ever.

I don't want to listen to metal anymore, really.

Whether that's a temporary thing or not, I don't know.

The Power to Believe is amazing.

I never want to hear Torman Maxt. It does not sound like my type of thing at all.

I'd put PoS's Scarsick on that list.

There's not much I detest... but that I do.  I never want to hear it ever again.

Yet the files are still on my laptop...!

I like metal, but I'm picky with it the most when it comes to my sub-genres, it seems. It's not like Post Rock or Krautrock where I simply don't care for the entire sub-genre as much as I do others, but I love some metal bands/genres and don't like others.

The vocals in BTBAM are what keep me from enjoying it, mostly.

That's because it was so awesome it melted your mind.

Oh lord, PRR. I hope they never come out with another album, I don't think I could bear all the discussion of it.
