Posts shown in reverse order

I just noticed that suddenly the posts in a thread appear in reverse order, with the latest at the top instead of at the bottom. Is this a new feature? If so, I have to say this: While it may be a good thing to have the latest post on top if you are actively taking part in an ongoing discussion, it is extremely annoying to read the reply to a post before the post itself when you take a first look at a thread. I would definitely like the "latest post first" feature to be optional.

Well, then all threads are becoming buggy, because it is happening with all now, even with this.

The latest posts also appear to be on page 1 for me now, not, for example, on page 134, provided the thread has 134 pages.
