Here is a link to a thread I started awhile back. There is a link to the Progress Records website in here. There are quite a few free samples that can be downloaded. Brighteye Brison is only in Prog Related, but I really think they deserve to either be in Symph or Neo, especially with what I have heard from their new album. http://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=49178&KW=progress+records&PID=2863198#2863198 Anyhow, if you are interested in checking out some modern symph/neo prog bands there are some pretty good ones here. You just might want to avoid Galleon as they are the band that rated only 1 star from E-Dub.

Matthew Parmenter from Discipline is a really big fan of Peter Hammill. He told me that I really should start liking him, or else.

errrr...by the way, just started O3 A Trilogy Part 3 by Dominici. Damn fine album. And surprisingly filled with a lot more emotion than the last couple of DT albums.

I haven't heard Part 3 yet. I enjoyed Part 2. And I was completely shocked by how different Part 1 was when I heard it later.

I haven't heard Part 1 yet, but I've heard that it was more accoustic than 2 or 3. |

And now for a band that Antoine likely knows better than me.

Yes. The story is actually pretty good (or cheesy depending on your perspective), but the acousticness was completely unexpected.

Guess what!! I have all the Nektar albums from the 70s....but i haven't tried Nektar in the 00s
![]() Anyway, my favorites are their first 2.....Journey to the centre of the eye and Tab In The Ocean!
Remember The Future gets a lot of votes as well.

I'm new to Nektar. They are probably my favorite find thanks to PA. I downloaded Journey to the Centre of the Eye from eMusic, and then followed up with Tab in the Ocean. I liked them enough that I downloaded another 6 or 7 albums from eMusic including this one.

That was my first spin of this morning. King Crimson review number 6 is percolating in my head. I'll probably give it a couple more listens and than try my hand at another review of this awesome Bill Bruford side project.

My favorite Nektar albums are Tab in the Ocean and Recycled. Their comeback albums have been quite good, especially Evolution. I'm looking forward to soon hearing Book of Days.

If I were MikeEnRegalia I would add a chart from ProgFreak, but I haven't figured out how to do that yet. But Tab In The Ocean and Remember the Future are my favorites, and Journey to the Centre of the Earth and Recycled are next.
