It's kind of obvious, Rach. It could slip past Stevie Wonder, but not the rest of us. LOL

Roquefort? You maniac! I mean, look at the state of it - 2% cheese & 98% unpleasantness:

One year, our contribution to a large Christmas meal was to supply the cheeses so we got a list from all the guests... that one had to be double wrapped in a separate cool-box, but it still stunk out the car... on a 4 1/2 hour journey to Somerset!

that's ok - just scrape off the mouldy bits and you'll be left with......very little Ermm

what sort of questions was you (no doubt Tory) MP asking Rachel?

Why would half a dozen sweaty, unshaven middle aged men tour Eastern Europe in the back of a clapped out old mini-bus?  Are they still living under the illusion of being in their 20's?  When will they settle down, get proper jobs and support their families??....LOL

Tory MP's just couldn't understand the beauty that is prog....Wink

..at least whatever happens they will be welcomed back into the UK at Dover - there seem to be a lot of those here already LOL

oh no, I hug just about anyone!  I really scared a few people in Verviers and Zoetermeer!  Every copy sold is helping to ensure they get a chance to make the next one, so every copy gets a hug (or not, if you prefer!)

The Peel shows are going to be a bit spesh to be honest, Fanny I think you should come to those too........Wink

Exciting times!

I've never tried French pear jelly...but I'd certainly be up for the experience...Big%20smile

If you can find one of those fine 14.5% Belgian beers brewed by the monks from some 13th century chateau in the Ardennes...then I'll be flying over next weekend...Wink
Me too.
Although I'll skip the beetDeadroot if that's okay with you.

French bread + smelly cheese + red wine = Big%20smile

Can't abide by those stinky cheeses...I like strong but not stinky.

Favorites in our house are probably Brie, Parmagiano Reggiano, Gruyere, Gouda, Cheddar - the latter two especially if they've been smoked, ooh that's good

The best cheese for me (skipping the blues) is very old dutch - one that has rested for over twelve months. It's almost impossible to cut, since it becomes very brittle when old, and has salt crystals in it here and there...

I know this isn't funny but I was amused to read the bit that says "Initial post-mortem tests failed to establish a cause of death". So, nothing to do with being shut in a freezer for over 15 hours then?

A cook has been found dead in a freezer at a school in Essex where she worked.

Linda Gent, 55, was found at South Benfleet Primary on the evening of Saturday 27 September, 15 hours after she was reported missing.

Initial post-mortem tests failed to establish a cause of death but police said they were not treating her death as suspicious.

forgive me Angelo...I personally have a VERY great fondness for your nation and its people... over the centuries, your small nation has consistantly punched above its weight in terms of giving the world architecture & design, the arts & culture, trade & commerce, technical innovation and the advancement of the secular society....ClapClap

but lets not push things too far....unless you can include the unique experience of rolling them around Alkmaar marketplace, cheese has never been something you've done particularly well....Embarrassed
