I'm thinking of preordering "Traced In Air" by Cyinic soon. Does anyone know where I can find a good place to do that for a reasonable price? Just so you know, I'll probably have to have it delivered by mail because there are no decent CD stores where I live.

How's Afenginn, Blowfus?  I love the two albums by them I have.

I don't suppose you know Danish, do you?  I got a MySpace message from Afenginn today and it was in Danish!

Kære Geck0! Vi vil hermed invitere til koncert med et voldsomt udvidet Afenginn line-up: 14 mand på scenen, guitars, brass, mandekor og en masse andet, det bliver stort! Håber vi ses :) kh, Afenginn

How are they?  I've yet to hear them.  I know they have links to Shining and Ultralyd though.  Thoughts?

Oh and that cover art is hilarious. LOL

@ James:

I liked it slightly better than Retrograd, which was fairly good to my ears. Very good stuff!

Oh, Danish is very similar to Norwegian actually,

Dear Geck0, We invite to concert with a fairly expanded Afenginn line-up; 14 people on stage, guitars, brass, male choir and several other things, it's gonna be great! Hope we see you there.

You better take a trip to Denmark soon.. WinkTongue

Noxagt are brutally noisy and dissonant. That album only includes bass and drums, I think but it still scrambles your brain. I need to listen to it more, very good! Smile

Oh, RIO order incoming:

Univers Zero - s/t (remaster)
Banda Elastica- Ai Tencargo
Stormy Six- L'apprendista
Present- High Infidelity
                 A Great Inhumane Adventure
Shub Niggurath- Les Morts Vont Vile
                               Testament
Miasma & the Carousel of Headless Horses- Perils
Fredrik Thordendal's Special Defects- Sol Niger Within

Nice order!

I need to get Stormy Six's L'Apprendista on CD, thanks for the reminder!

Also wouldn't mind those two Present albums on CD either, they're the two I don't have, besides Live!.

Let me know what Testament is like too, I have two other Shub-Niggurath albums and they're excellent.

And yes,  Akrobakkus is excellent.  The last track (the hidden one) was a great surprise!

I lack No 6, C.O.D Performance and Live! I'll grab these soon. Stormy Six are awfully expensive, btw, even on WaysideOuch

Rumours say that Testament is Shub Niggurath's most abstract and dissonant album. I can't wait to hear it! Big%20smile

edit: Oh yeah, I ordered a ticket for The Residents on November 29th. Clap And I might see Strawbs this autumn as well. Big%20smile

Thick As A Brick - Jethro Tull
In The Land Of Grey And Pink - Caravan
Pawn Hearts - Van der Graaf Generator

Yeah, nothing too obscure for me yet, at least until I get all the classics that are missing from my collection. I Heart 20 minute plus album tracks. Smile
