Can't post the pictures.Unhappy

But anyway, here's what I've been feeding my turntable with lately:

Morse Code Transmission ''same''
Dionysos ''Le prince croule''
Jack Bruce ''At his Best''
Lighthouse ''Thoughts of Movin' on''
Merryweather ''Word of Mouth''
Jacques Blais et Fantasia
Banco ''same-english songs,1975''

Most of theses are Quebecois bands of the 70's.Some rare stuff.
What's gonna come out of my mouth is gonna come out of my soul."Skip Prokop"

Ever since we discovered it, I haven't been able to hook up my parents' old turntable up to any speakers because I haven't had the right cable, but just last night I was able to hook it up to my TV via DVD Red/white cables. It's primitive, but it fine by me because my parents have GREAT stuff on vinyl that I don't have on CD.

Last night I was listening to "Fragile" by Yes and "Chicago II" by Chicago. I'll probably be listening to more of my parents' records.

Posted in the other "Listening thread"

Quote Marc Johnson's Bass Desires - Second Sight

Johnson - Bass
Erskine - drums
Scofield - Guitar
Frisell - guitar.

Good album so far, but I much prefer their first outing, especially that cover of Coltrane's "Resolution".

After this is over I'll be putting on Stan Getz - Big Band Bossa Nova. I enjoy his bossa nova works with Jobim, Gilberto, Byrd, but i don't know how I feel about him with a big band doing it. My main inspiration for getting it though was that Jim Hall plays in the band which seems to good to pass up.

Their first and maybe their best.
Over land and under ashes
In the sunlight, see - it flashes
Find a fly and eat his eye
But don't believe in me
Don't believe in me
Don't believe in me
