Well, after you finished checking out all the recommendations of the other day check them out, specially the album I mentioned, I'm just going through my Zune on shuffle and rediscovering what I had and Disillusion was one of them.

Think after this Sleep Terror, I'll play Super-string Theory and then the Heather Nova "Redbird." That should put me to sleep :)

I'll think I'll go with Textures just like last night or maybe some Disillusion. Though post rock is better for sleeping its just hypnotizing. You might try that Edited by burritounit - July 12 2008 at 01:48 |

heh, I like female vocals. Curve (Toni Halliday) always does the trick. Think she's been singing me to sleep for the past 15 years.

I listened to it earlier this week for the first time in years......and well, it is extremely boring listening to the whole thing. I know I will get slaughtered for saying this but Gloria is a much more experimental and better album imo. BTTOS just bores the sh*t out of me now....bad chugga chugga riffs that go nowhere..... |

ohh yes the female vocals, if you like female vocals the try Echoes Of Eternity or Distorted. Ah man now I don't know what to listen for me to go to sleep... |

well it's pretty long indeed, but it hasn't bore me. And as for Gloria I haven't heard it, I've read somewhere they took a more commercial approach. Might check it out. |

damn Into the Everflow is a good album
also I think I might try The Human Abstract, though I really don't like Protest the Hero, vocals being the main point of annoyance....not soon at the very least |

Well, the vocals on The Human Abstract aren't that annoying. I guess, at least not like in Protest The Hero. |

This has probably been mentioned before:
A friend on Progressive Ears has posted about this band of Colin Marston from Behold The Arctopus and Dysrhythmia called Indricothere
Fantastic, brilliant (instru) metal!
EDIT - didn't realize Jody had already added them in PA:

I've already mentioned this, but the new ThanatoSchizO album Zoom Code is wonderful (like their previous albums). |

Well, I'm not sure. I'm only saying from what I see the most. Maybe your not the only one, since at first when their albums got added they had plenty of 5 and 4 stars. Edited by burritounit - July 13 2008 at 14:47 |

I like PtH's vocalist,he goes all over the place. So count me as one of the few who don't mind that aspect of their music.

Hey, I just got From A Second Story Window's Conversations, and it's pretty cool. I saw them in the charts and that they've been approved. I was wondering they were gonna be added sometime soon. I'd be willing to do the bio if necessary.
Here's their myspace: http://www.myspace.com/fromasecondstorywindow |
