I would actually choose that option myself to save money, but sadly, that wasn't an expense for me to begin with.
I've been selling kidneys for money...not my own kidneys of course. Shhhh...don't tell anyone. | Doc.... Dr. Mengele? Woa, I didn't know you were still alive...where are you hiding these days? (sorry, I probably shouldn't make light of that)
Teo: school and work really do eat up a lot of gas, I try not to drive too much other than that...but y'know how it is - shouldn't feel guilty about things you can't fix. I like to tell people that I don't date much because I'm saving money...sometimes I wish that was the only reason

If I tell you where I'm hiding, I'm afraid I'd have to kill you.
I've been around, on and off. When the mood strikes me, I pop in. Hmmmm...I've said that to girls before regarding...errrrr...nevermind...forget I said that.

I can understand your anger at me, but what did the horse I rode in on ever do to you?

On a similar theme, I installed a USB port in my bellybutton and now scan pictures of food into my stomach.

No uneccessary journeys in the car, and I've stopped running my PC, my stereo and my TV simultaneously. It was a bad habit of mine to be playing music, while chatting on PA, while watching TV with the sound off. Who says men cant multitask.. ? |
<FONT face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" color=#333399 size=2>Those so called 'energy saving' bulbs are BS. They don't last as long as they say they do, they cost more and they contain mercury which is a health hazard. Another in the long list of scams that we humans must endure. Remember to watch your carbon footprint folks , another scam as well.
<SPAN =orangeDarkLarge><FONT face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" color=#333399 size=2>"Oh, foolish man, what can you not be made to believe?"</SPAN> |
The mercury story was a bit of a concern, but I have found that they do pay for themselves. I have two ES bulbs in my house, which I put in in November 99, and they're still going. Since installing them throughout the house, my Dircet Debit payments have been adjusted slightly in my favour and may be adjusted further, once my meter is read again.
I wouldn't be too sure and GW theory being a scam. I'm prepared to believe that it may be exagerated in some quaters, but why would the vast majority of scientists sign up to it, without considering other theories, or whether indeed, GW is happening at all? |
<> Well, there are just as many so called 'experts' who also claim 'Global
Warming' to be a fraud as well. If your pay check depends on you towing the
party line, you tow the party line. It is as simple as that. My big concern is that they are teaching it
in the schools as fact when in fact it is only a theory. I work in the hotel
business and I can tell you that the energy bulbs take longer to fully brighten
and they don't like being enclosed all that much because of heat issues. Forget
about using them in dimmer circuits as they won't work. In some cases they do
last longer but when I consider the hotel and what we spend on bulbs and hydro I
can tell you it's not that big of a saving if at all. I would take an
incandescent bulb any day over the mini fluorescent bulbs. I am not one to believe all that the so called experts tell me. I don't trust government at all plus most of these recommendations all come from the United Nations. Ask yourself who votes the people in at the UN. No, they are all appointed. Question everything and that should be obvious to anyone paying attention in this day and age.

If we alter our lifestyles, then the terrorists win.
