We can only hope that the Ferraris are weak at Monaco and Canada, I never enjoy seeing Ferrari do well in F1 as it's a constant reminder (to me at least) of how boring F1 became during Schumacher's era of total domination.

At least the Ferrari drivers can race against each other now, shame that both never seem to be "on it" at the same time.

You forgot the most important one - the Nurburgring 24 Hours. On the classic Nordschleife, no less.

So here they are, in the order of importance:

1. Nurburgring 24 Hours
2. Indy 500
3. Coca Cola 600
...
1339. The Matchbox Race held by the kid next door
1440. Monaco GP

^Is it the Nurburgring race this weekend? I thought it would be in June again, its been held on the same w/e as Le Mans for the last few years now. I expect the Phoenix Racing Aston DBRS9 will win this year.

During practice their talking about Renault already wanting to dump Piquet Jr??

Yes, it's this weekend.

Putting it back to May is a good idea, people might want to do this race and Le Mans, after all.

I don't think the Aston will win, it wasn't all that fast last year. Only sixth fastest in quals for tomorrow's race, 23 seconds off the pace, and those Porsches are mighty strong!

Who do you think will win the 500?

The Porsche is a GT2 class car, despite the name, and the Aston is a GT3 class car (GT2 Vantage is yet to really get going, so dont expect to see that matching Porsches and Ferraris on pace for at least a year), so the Porsche was bound to be faster but the Phoenix Aston was leading last years race by a long way when it droped out at about 3/4 distance. I agree with you about the date change, though I know there were some drivers that competed in both events last year (talk about a long weekendLOL)!

As for Indy, I dont know, probably Dixon or Castroneves, but I expect the N/H/L cars to put on a bit of a late charge.

JJ, Renault were saying the same about Kovaleinen last year, and look where he is.

^ True

And it really is a shame about the Indy 500   one of the crown jewels of racing and most people just don't give a sh*t or watch it just because its the Indy 500...

^Oval racing only holds mass appeal in the states, I guarentee that anyone wathing NASCAR in the UK that isnt a streight up motorsport fan anyway is watching it for the crashes and nothing else. Plus, the 500 only gets shown in this country on a football dominated satelight chanel.

Ha well I guess it's all the same.
Sports networks don't even mention a word about soccer, er... football, until there's a championship  THEN we have the right to complain about how it ended LOL

Anyway, waking up early tomm to catch Monaco qualifying and of course the race on Sunday
Maybe the 500 depending on how I feel.

I only really went with the Aston because Phoenix are the best run team out there, most of the top Porsche squads are local semi pro teams whereas Phoenix are an FIA GT squad (I think they teamed up with Hezemans Carsport Holland team).

Cheers for the link to the streaming.Thumbs%20Up
