I'm not a big fan of techno-Kraftwerk, but their first two are pretty good. Sort of a mix between the spacy formlessness of the first couple of TaDream albums and the focused grooves of NEU!

Thanks guys :D I didnt know about early Kraftwerk and Tangerine Dream, I'll check 'em out, downloading Schwingungen and Seven Up by Ash Ra Temple now

I have listened to Acid Mothers Guru Guru, which was two Acid Mothers Temple fellas and the drummer from Guru Guru, but I haven't heard guru guru's stuff. I'll try hunt them down

Their debut is excellent as well. Come to think of it, their first 4 or 5 albums were all excellent.

Seven Up is an "interesting" album due to how it was recorded but I prefer Schwingungen and the first album. Amboss is an amazing track.

I have had little exposure to Krautrock but generally like what I hear.
My full collection, which is small and somewhat disjoined, is (if I recall correctly)...
Brainticket: Celestial Ocean
Can: Monster Movie, Tago Mago, Ege Bamyasi
Mythos: Mythos
Orange Peel: Orange Peel
...and if we are including certain Tangerine Dream albums as mentioned elsewhere in the thread add Alpha Centauri and Green Desert
...and I think my Full Horn album by Cornucopia is more Krautrock than Jazz Rock. (JR is the PA genre.)
It would seem that other than Can and TD I have works from lesser known Krautrock bands.
Certainly from reading this thread there are plenty of "mainstream" Krautrock bands for me to check out. (I just need more money!)

For a bit more information about the music, the album is one single song (or jam) that clocks in about 50 to 60 minutes and its based on GonG's Master Builder main theme. It's one of their better efforts so I agree with this recommendation. Magical Power From Mars is another nice recommendation. The album is more varied than IAO Chant... and less hard to enjoy, unless you're used to hour-long jams. If not then check Magical Power From Mars out. I'm not a good reviewer, but feel free to read the one I wrote for this album just to get an idea of what their music's like.

I just can't get into that album. I love hypnotic, repetitive riffs but that organ riff really annoys me after a few minutes.

Where's Ashra!!!?? haha the only krautrock album/band I know haha.
Really excited with 
I think I chose the electronic area. Pure relaxing, any other of the same vein, I was going to go with Ash Ra Tempel's debut, seems interesting with only 2 songs, even though Blackout's epic isn't quite good, prefer 77 Slightly Delayed, Blackouts and Midnight on Mars.
Well any other album to recomend me, going to go with Tempel's debut and Amon Dull II Yeti.

Ashra's New Age of Earth is in a similar style to Blackouts but I think it's much better.

If you like Ashra you might like Yatha Sidhra's Meditation Mass. Pretty mellow,
but it does pick up a bit in the middle or so. Kinda like a combination of the
music from the Sergius Golowin album (Lord Krishna von Goloka), Popol Vuh
(Aguirre) and Cosmic Jokers.....with some whiffs of jazz. The music was written
by the drummer, IIRC. For me, it is one of the top 5 krautrock albums of all time.
It is definitely rock, but rock that is stretched in the service of a vision.
On the other hand, Manuel & Co. were always pretty unique and worthy of more attention.
