Just like in 2007, Massa lost the championship in the first race; fast but fool... he isn't made with the stuff that shapes the real champions.

Unfortunately I could see this year being ruined by another political row, this time over the standard ECU which was designed by McLaren, I sure that if Ferrari suffer a few electrical failures in the car they'll try to force the FIA to use their design which was rejected in favour of the McLaren one.

That was a rather silly mistake of his at turn one (not as bad as Piquet's mind, he punted off Fisi). Whats your take on Massa's crash with DC, I think it was a racing accident myself?

I don't know if Massa cost himself a chance at the title already....Although I don't put a high chance on him. I don't know if he can quite keep up with Hamilton and Raikkonen.

There was some very good news for UK based F1 fans today, the BBC will be showing the races from next season. No more adverts during crucial moments of the races and far more importantly no more James Allen. Big%20smile

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/motorsport/formula_one/7306123.stm

Yes I know that the original BBC coverage was not particularly good but it seems that they are going to improve massively on that and on what ITV have done since 1996.

Good news indeed. Not sure about James Allen though. remember when ITV got the deal, Murray Walker switched channels with it.

Why would the BBC employ James Allen when they've already got a skilled commentary team for the radio transmissions? Wink

Excellent news, I just hope Martin Brundle gos with it. As for James Allen, he's not exactly "the voice of motorsport", so is unlikely to get the call for a switch to the beeb.

Just beat again Nick.LOL

4th place for Jenson, now that is impressive. Hard to think that only a month ago the Honda was the slowest car out there!

Indeed, I wonder how much more speed they can find in that car. Hopefully in a couple of years or so they might be getting regular podiums and challenging for the occasional win.

What I want to know is why the McLarens get penalised for slowing Heidfeld down but all the other cars he had to weave around don't.

I'll finally be able to catch a race tomrrow, it's the Sprint Cup's off weekend. I missed the first because of the Cup race at Bristol. I'm in Nashville right now working on a Nationwide series car, but i'll be back to catch the race!

Beauty will save the world.

Kubica and Webber were off the racing line when Heidfeldt came through, whereas Kovie and Hamilton were on it, I think thats what made the difference here. Qualifying on race fuel really needs to be done away with, though.

I'm sure he had to move to avoid the Ferraris too. To be honest I was barely awake this morning while watching the qualifying so I'm probably wrong.

Awesome 3rd place in the grid for Trulli, but he better has a great start if he doesn`t want to lose positions immediately by the BMW`s
