There has been a change in the new Fromuz album. The CD will be called OVERLOOK. Vitaly Popeloff and I exchanged a few emails this week and he may be coming over for the final mixing to the States. In any event, the release should be summer 2008.

Fromuz Newz: the new album by Fromuz, called "Overlook" is being shipped to the US to be mixed and mastered by Jeff Hodges, keyboardist/vocalist/songwriter for the neo-prog band, Man on Fire. Jeff is also one of the principles of 10T Records.

Beyond the title, the music bears little, if any, resemblance to the hotel of Mr King's novel. And the art I'm working on has nothing to do with it. Vitaly has said that they do admire the novel, though.

I just got an email from Alberto at Arlequins, the Italian Prog Magazine. He said that he's been listening to Russian Prog lately, so I asked him what specifically and he replied:

"My favourite one of these days is Vapirov,
There are many good things in Russia: Vezhlivi Otkaz are really good, I bought almost all of their LPs. About newer stuff: I really like Marimba Plus and Kostarev."

Does anyone know Vapirov, Vezhlivi Otkaz or Marimba Plus? Your thoughts?

I found this for Marimba Plus

and by Vapirov does he mean a group or this artist?

Sorry nothing for Vezlivi Otkaz

"What are you going to do when that damn thing rusts?"
