Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson

You lucky Americans. I have seen them and highly recommend them live. If you are anywhere near one of their gigs you should go.
I also recommend that DVD, not the greatest quiality but it gives you an idea of what the live experience feels like. |

hmmmm....
I can't decide about that... I've seen pelican headline twice already, and both times their opener was better than them (first time was Mono, second was Russian Circles). Pelican is good live, but there are bands with much better live shows. Also, I know I don't like thrice, but I don't know much about Circa Survive. Still, it's not everyday they come to town... |

Thrice and Circa Survive with Pelican?
I saw Thrice live a few years back and I quite enjoyed it. A bit too much screaming for my tastes. but still enjoyed it, don't think I like them as much today. I do not like Circa Survive at all though. All in all, an interesting and diverse combination. |
