It's all fine over here.
Maybe your connection is just slow at the moment...or something else of the sort? Perhaps your provider is extremely busy? I know often for me the avvies vanish for hours at a time, but it's merely because of the poor connection I have. |

Nothing wrong here, VB. I can see all the covers, and your fighter jet as well....

I have never had that problem of avatars disappearing. I've got ADSL2, a 12mbps connection, although not sure if that's the reason I never get any problems.

Couldn't this be that the loading of the images were just very slow?
It happens when the web is very busy (this usually means for us West Europeans around 6PM local time, because California is waking up and starts webbing around. Suddendly pages load up slower.

Surely they'd gone before the Web was invented Jim?

I`ve been experiencing slow connections since about Sept. but the images just disappeared in front of me. Maybe I`ll have to update my computer which dates from the mid 16th century.

Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson

I just want someone to hack in and make the photos of Jim Garten in female attire disappear.
Please. |

When you think it's hacking, it very rarely is, at least from a technical standpoint. And yes, your connection is just slow and your browser is freaking out. If someone had full access to the site (through whatever means), they would do much more than delete all the avatars.
