I would assume it is because of the different labels, my local shop sells those albums for quite cheaply (but they sell albums like mdk and ka which cost nearly double), they are on 'charly' or something similar to that. The quality is still the same, but Udu Wudu doesn't come in the digi pack. Also with the one disc live, you are only really missing out on about 15mins of material. p.s. you need to dl 'winzip' |

Here's a free .zip program. Get the .exe file. it's very easy - just click on it and it should unpack itself. To open the download after that, just right click on your file and choose "Open With" and click 7 Zip

Has anybody heard these two beauties:
Teddy Lasry 'Seven Stones'
Hiatus 'Avant-Demain'
?
Both Five Star zeuhl rarities. Wish I knew how to convert LPs to mp3 (on the cheap)

Speak of Bondage Fruit, I just saw on the main page a review of V by one of my favourite reviewers and a very nice guy, John Davie:

Glad you are all enjoying The Fruit! Kido Natsuki is an absolute authority on World Music and possibly the most skillful guitarist I ever saw. He was on national TV in Japan just last week talking about a Hungarian musical child prodigy. A very modest chap, to boot.
There label (run out of Katsui Yuuji's bedroom) is just down the road from me. Less than 1 minute! If anyone is having problems finding their albums just pop off an e-mail to Maboroshi no Sekai (Phantom's World) as they rely on word-of-mouth and don't have any significant backing.
All their albums are strong but IV and VI are mind-shattering.

Hello all! I`ll probably go back and read this whole thread!
If you`re bored, check out my video`s of underground Japanese bands, including:
Ruins alone
Koenjihyakkei
Yoshida Tatsuya + Ishibashi Eiko
Acid Mothers Temple SWR
I know... all Yoshida projects. But they`re pretty good!

これから宜しくお願い致します☆
Lived in Japan for a few years (Tokyo) and seen some great live shows! Was working at a live-house near Shinjuku for a year and their schedule was 50% underground (Koenjihyakkei, Le Silo, Ruins, Cicala Mvta, Bondage Fruit et al on a regular basis) and 50% 'idol' events (tons of young beauties). Couldn't go wrong apart from the salary.
Became good friends with Miyako Kanazawa (Le*Silo) through that gig. Amazing chick!

The link to Eider Stellaire is broken! And I can't find anywhere else to buy or sample it. Unless I find it on eBay, I'll never hear them! |
