   A friend of mine sent me the album "Crimson Dance" by Ivan Lebedev, which is entirely piano, but phenomenal. It deals with rhythmic experimenting, complexity to the extreme that it sometimes sounds like barbaric bashing, and even some really beautiful melancholic dark melodies. 

I tried searching the internet for him, but could find nothing. Not even wikipedia or last.fm have anything to say about him. Has anyone else ever heard the name, or his album "Crimson Dance"?
