Congratulations!  The ad just startled the hell out of me about 10 minutes after I crawled out of bed, and I threw my bloody laptop out the window IN FEAR.

Reminds me of those damn buzzing ads from awhile back.
 
And please, don't anyone say get firefox with adblock or anything similar, cause thats not a f*cking solution. Stern%20Smile

And the little 'sound off' button is useless because by the time you click on it, the friggin' message is over. Then you either refresh or go to another thread and it plays all over again. Banner ads with sound are just the worst, but that mosquito ad was bloody awful.

It's working perfectly fine for me! Of course it would be better if M@x removed the ads, but I guess that would not be a solution for him ... Wink

You've won 2 iPod nanos. How about one iPod that can hold an realistic amount of music? I have nearly 700 CDs. My 60 gig is bursting at the seams. Why two, by the way. Will they mate and fill the world with too little space?

I don't get any annoying ads - at least not at home anyway.

I realize the need to make money, but can we at least have a policy banning these obnoxious and evil audio ads?

First, I would NEVER buy a product from a company that annoys me in that way.  Second, if these audio auto-launch ads are allowed to flourish here and I can't stop them on my PC, I will undoubtedly use the site much less. 

It's a shame how quickly obnoxious ads can overtake a site and ruin the experience.  I hope the powers to be here recognize that and fix it.

Oh well, though. Hopefully like most of the banner ads it will have its cycle...and then never return.
