Look, I wrote this sucker a month ago, but it didn't take more than twelve hours for someone to mark it "un-helpful." Since then, that number...has doubled. I cringe my friends. Cringe.

To be blunt, because it sucks. And...it isn't funny. At all. Sorry.

I marked it unhelpful too.

I've got a Mac so "fixing" is irrelevant.

That explains why the Apple help site is always so busy, and you have to schedule getting help at the "nerd bars" or whatever at an Apple store hours or even days in advance.

Twenty-two years with six different Macs and I've needed help only one time when a lightning strike took out my logic board. The local shop had me back up and running in less than 48 hours.

...That statement is meaningless to me.

Linux must be really good - you can run it on boxes now. Windows only works on computers.

Eve Mac can't solve the human equation.

I've only had slight problems, and they were due to my not being very good at d.i.y. The only major problem I've had was the same as Trademark's. I also got hit by lightning, and fried a motherboard. My first Mac too. I had to trade it in for a PC. After that short time with Mac, I couldn't stand Windows anymore.
