Playing Etrian Odyssey for the DS now   Seriously f**king awesome, and the need for graphing your own maps, in 2007, makes me shiver with pleasure.

Also playing a bit of Phantasy Star for the old Sega Master System on my DS ().  Good times!

I do, sort of.  I know I've got plenty on my DS.

Do you have Dark_Alex's custom firmware on your PSP?

How's the PSP overall, anyway?  I've been thinking of picking one up for some time for its emulation capabilities (NES/SNES/GBA/PSX...  the DS can do NES/GB/GBC/Genesis/Megadrive quite well, but the 16-bit and higher is a tougher task), but I can't justify the entry cost for something I can do on my PC...  does the software lineup have anything to offer a fan of quirky RPGs, hardcore strategy titles, and general weirdness?

I do not have that software- I have never heard of itTongue

I think the PSP is defenitly worth the cost now (160 bucks) there are MANY games coming out soon. Check out Gamespot.com

ThanksSmile

Is it any good?  Halo was a decent experience for a console title (offering massive online), but other than that, it always felt extremely generic, adding very little to the FPS genre...  -especially- considering what Halo was originally intended to be, back when it was planned as a Mac-only title.  Microsoft had them dumb down what was going to be a truly innovative game into a simple FPS Ouch

Halo 3 (at least the beta version)  is basically Halo 2 with minor modifications. Since I burned out on Halo 2 a long time ago, it made a very meager impression on me.

That's what I figured.  I have a 360, but I'm one of the few who doesn't really care about Halo 3.  Really, the only games I'm looking forward to are GTA4, and some of the new RPGs from Square-Enix.  I might even sell it soon, I have no use for it really.

Starcraft II should be great, I loved the first.

Bungie's not even Bungie anymore...  Ouch

In the early 90's, I was a big Mac user, and Bungie was an amazing Mac-only developer...  Pathways Into Darkness, the Marathon series, Myth: The Fallen Lords, and several others were experiences you could (at one time) only get on the Mac...  Cry

I only played on the normal difficulty, but it was a great game.  Challenging at parts (boss battles mainly) but not overly-hard like some games I've played.  For example, Ninja Gaiden, which was amazing but way too hard for me.

I know what you mean. I played Ninja Gaiden and it was great, and the graphics were stunning. But I literally could not play it Cry
