Playing Etrian Odyssey for the DS now Seriously f**king awesome, and the need for graphing your own maps, in 2007, makes me shiver with pleasure.
Also playing a bit of Phantasy Star for the old Sega Master System on my DS (). Good times! |

the one with the gun blade? never heard it called Final Fantacy 3 but ok.
I didn't really like that one, the story wasn't as good as some others and the levling-up system thing was to complicated.

I love the Shining series... I still have good memories of paying one of my friends 1.25 to draw a detailed map as I played Darkness I'm currently tearing through Final Fantasy 3 (in the US) also known as Final Fantasy VI (I think), which is the best FF hands down, and one of my top 3 RPGs of all time |

Well, when i first bought it I played like there was nothing lefdt in the world to do. Logged in about 90 hrs, and I'd say--including both expansions, I've managed to scrape together a good 80% of the game. Perhaps a bit more. You want a big game--check out Elder Scrolls II: Morrowind which, in my opinion, which superior to Oblivion. Oblivion was dumbed down for a mass audience, whereas Morrowind was a bit more of a hardcore RPG...and much longer. Only thing is, Oblivion has better mechanics--for it came later why wouldn't it?. But everythign else, from story, to just the otherworldly feel of Morrowind--I find it superior (but that's perhaps because I logged at least 1000 hours into that game no joke....) Another extremely fun game (despite my reluctance to admit it) is World of Warcraft. Anyone here play?? |

Yep, they're to be played right after Link to the Past I borrowed both of them from my friend about 3 years ago... I don't think he'll ever be getting them back Edited by Electrick Gypsy - May 07 2007 at 22:18 |

I love "grinding".I had myself levelled up a lot higher than usual in Dragon Quest VIII because of all the grinding I did in that game.It makes dungeon crawling and boss battles so much easier.

XII is really good, it takes a little bit of time to get into the game (and the new battle system) but it gets good fast. The only problem I have is that you have to train a lot (grinding, my brother called it) since the enemies can get difficult fast. |

I still haven't got it, but I am so lookin forward to it :)
I have all the Final Fantasy games from VI to X-2 (although X-2 was a bit crap). IX is my definite favourite - the storyline is just so wonderful. |
