Yes, it's been a looong gap.
I think Hamilton will win Spain, (or maybe in Turkey). He can't finish 2nd forever.....
But Nick Heidfeld can finish 4th forever

I'd have my money on for Turkey s well, but thats the other end of the season. I reckon Raikkonen will win at Barcelona, but I've got a good feeling about Hamilton at Monaco the week after.

Getting your first win at Monaco would be one hell of a way to do it.
I would like to, TRY, to get some friends together and go to Indy for the USGP. Does anyone have a clue how tough tickets are?
I'm not saying this year even, but in general.

Wait, you serious?
Well..if that's the case than no harm done.
And to repost my question: I would like to, TRY, to get some friends together and go to Indy for the USGP. Does anyone have a clue how tough tickets are?

Try Indy's website (and see if you can find the "I Am Indy" song, which sounds like I Am Mindy ), it will certainly tell you how much the tickets are and, if its anything like Europe, I would suggest to get them a couple months in advance at least, plus they can cost a fair bit.

Well, I'd be looking at about £100+ for a race day ticket at Silverstone, I wouldnt have a clue what it would be at Indy, probably about $100, knowing Bernie.

Yea, I just thought it'd be cool to look into. Also...need to get some people who want to go to Indy.
Although checking the dates... Ialready know I can't this year.
Have some work I need to do over the summer, and it conflicts with that date.

Indeed, the gap has been horrible. All I been able to watch on TV was the BTCC (British Touring Car Cahmpionship) and that was terrible, should be renamed the BBCC (British Bumper Car Championship) IMO.

Yea, there hasn't even been any champ car races at least. I've been relying on NASCAR.
So, who's your bet for this race? I will continue to say Hamilton until he wins.

I've missed rounds 2 and 3 this year, is the racing just as contact-heavy as last year? I did watch the FIA GT race at Silverstone on Men and Moters, great racing between Maserati, Aston and Chevrolete. BTW, Valencia has signed a deal to host a street race around the harbour area in F1 from next year, giving Spain 2 races (and they've only just gotten rid of the second Italian and German races ).

Looks lie Ferrari made a big step in testing last week despite the rain, it seems they have a definite advantage at the moment, so I'll say Raikkonen.

I think either of the McLarens are a safe bet (I would say that tough as I'm biased against Ferrari). I think the if Hamilton keeps up his current lelvel of performance he could win a few this year and he is certainly a championship contender.

The BTCC is getting worse, just look at the pictures of Matt Alison's crash last weekend, he was hit by Turner (SEAT) but the crash was blamed on Alison's team mate which is scandalous in my opinion as the contact between Turner and Alison's team mate was literally just trading paint, not a shove up the rear which wrecked the car. But of course since John Palmer is in charge of both the MSA and the BTCC and is good friends with Plato, SEAT are untouchable. From what I've read the FIA GTs were very good, I wish I could have watched the race.

I think you mean Alan Gow, not Palmer, and yes, I think the BTCC reall needs to clamp down on the door banging, its not supposed to be a contact sport.
