I got this once yesterday. I noticed a general slowing down of the site for a few minutes, then it was back to normal and has been since.

Saw it about half an hour again. The forum is slow - I post and get this message. I also noticed that when the forum is slow, my Firefox indicates it is waiting for www.google-analytics.com, so it could be a problem with the link from the server to Google rather than a problem with the forum itself.

I got that message about five times today. It gets really annoying since I don't know if I posted or not and I end up posting twice and have to delete one of the posts.

I believe this happens when the server gets busy and slow(PA is not the only forum it hosts...) the pages load slowly but the script that loads the page has a time limit and when the page can't load fast enough due to server performance it aborts the load. Hence "timeout expired".Geek
