When yer bored yer DEAD
cuz there's nothing good
floatin' in yer head

Don't MIND yer own buisness
cuz everything's worth knowing
just let in all unwind

So I like BLEEDING all my thoughts
making red stains on everything clean
but there's no need to clean it all up

scanning the graveyard
looking for syd barrett's bones
a ghastly aura
overcast the tombstones

skies coal black
saucers fly in overdrive
a shocking sight
makes me feel so alive

those crazy old cops think i'm mad
completely out-of-my-mind insane
and all those chances they had
to sit there and pick my brain

And where are Syd Barrett's bones?

I see him in the sky!

Looking down on me, saying goodbye.

My comments on Intelligent Design...

Brain trains move smooth talking walking into court
Thought stopped, more slug than rat cat drug in, no sport
Reason treason for day, pray for wrongs prolonged we find
Fudged judge befuddled, muddled mind is bad sign

Intellect subject to flawed laws, jaws working away
Jury takes break for day, Easter Sunday, returns to say
Laws passed fast passed gas lasting impact insured
Topeka sneaks a peak at bleak new future

Trying to add a third stanza (either at beginning or middle, I like the ending...), but it needs editing before it fits anywhere.

Minds designed to find untrue views nothing new
Gather rather fast outlast truth the dim win in courtroom
They stall call all nonsense sense for cents for gain
Prod minds find god in design development stained

This is about the Electric Kool Aid Acid Test, an amazing book if I do say so myself.

pranksters on the road
bus with a psychedelic load
hellish angels on their side
a freaked out mojo vessel to space

vibrations steaming in the air
psychic feels hover throughout
pesky feds give the prankster a scare
with cosmic channel to discover

dead play spaced frequencies
day glo crazies, acid fueled orgies
electric cacophony shattering
straight society stunned immaculate

beatific unadulterated bliss
strobe lights reveal breast flights
drink the kool aid with the cosmic poison
a ruby red maelstrom

the grass is greener in mexico
the run to the other side
where cosmos and reality violently collide
end...the dismal warehouse graduation

a 3 AM haiku:

crayons for my head
a beam of light makes way through the clouds
my back breaks
The scattered jigsaw of my redemption laid out before my eyes
Each piece as amorphous as the other - Each piece in its lack of shape a lie

How I envy living things,
with their imperfection,
and thr inconsistency it brings,
I envy you who find passion without
desperation for variation,If ever
you see me tell me what living is like, tell
me what it is to love, tell me what it is like
to see the earth when everyone is awake, and someday revive me so that I can experience life; without my own inventions; just the pure connatation!

I'm not in the rhyming business myself, but here's something I wrote for a school project LOL ages ago:

If you tell me you love school,
I will say you are a fool
Our school is like a jail
Where you lose and where you fail.

BTW our school was informally called "The Bastille".

This is about my troublesome sister, just comes up a few moments ago :

Don't reply
Don't even ask me for translations

You tired of me
and I’m tired with you too
I am who I am right now
This is how the world has made me into
and I won’t repent for my ways,
at least not for now

I am sarcastic, my words are harsh
This is probably not the first time
people are hurt with them
But let me say this,
If I ever had a biased mind against you
that’s because of all the things that you’ve done
I’m not talking sh*t,
You just need to look back

But what’s done is done
And I don’t think that I could ever
mend all the wounds I caused
Set your anger upon me,
but remember,
that you’re the one who started it
I maybe wrong, but don't think that you're right

Don't reply
Don't even ask me for translations

May this be my last message...
The devil we blame our atrocities on is really just each one of us.

Blah blah blah, etc.

I'm p-poeting like a poem,
And my knees don't listen.
And what?
He says his knees don't listen.
To which I reply "shout at them louder then, you fool".
But he doesn't hear, being as he is completely entranced by his knees.
I sigh, and walk on.
Where I'm going, knees aren't necessary.

Poetry, obviously, usually rhymes
There are times when it doesn't but not this time
What could be nobler than
unfinished poems?
Most things are.

Okay, I'm not really even trying any more. I don't think poetry's my forte.

The fear in heroes as they fall.
Rocky ice rings circle Saturn.
Stars mingle into
a spider web pattern
To eyes alive on
a sphere that turns.
Words from rain gods stray
from well-intended meaning
a storm of raining acid,
was told about Venus.
Mars hardens in the dawn of volcanic eruption
Earth’s gravitational suction keeps me guessing;
The question abduction.

Martians secretively
Launching to the moon.
Hide in the gloom of a crater;
Ancient tracks lead a fleet
Our angry evening.
Ten attacks a prophet’s seen
The surface will be cleaned.
Orange sands shape
Dusty city statues
The journey is big as
Roads become divided
We got to pump the stuff to make us tough
from the heart
Its astart
What we need is awareness we cant get careless
Mental self defensive fitness
Make everybody see in order to fight the powers that be

Here's a snippet of a yet unwritten epic poem titled "A Yet Unwritten Epic Poem."
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
At the swamp we gathered
a pick-axe and three rocks
inside a wooden box
that was really battered

Two of the rocks were black
one of the rocks was green
we thought it rarely seen
but put all the rocks back

The pick-axe was yellow
and that we took along
to our hot-air balloon
the wind was still mellow

The floor of our balloon
sure needed hoovering
for it kept on filling
with dust brought by monsoon

So we took our hoovers
and started hoovering
and though it was tiring
we kept on our bloomers

Of course we saw nymphs too
dancing in a circle
chewing on a myrtle
and their three cows went moo

We decided to write
a bad poem about
our journey and a trout
at least it wasn't trite

Here's a less epic and less poetic one, titled "Analog -> Digital":

Soon I can't see anything
with my analog TV
unless I buy a digibox
and connect it to my TV with a SCART cable
but first I must disconnect my DVD player
so I can connect the digibox to the TV with a SCART cable
and then the DVD player to the digibox with a SCART cable
and then my Playstation to the DVD player
with a cable that looks like a SCART cable
and most likely is
but then again who knows
is this right
or should I have connected the DVD player to the TV
and the digibox to the DVD player
or does it matter at all
I suppose it doesn't
but I have a strange feeling that it does
anyway I need an antenna cable too I suppose
or maybe even two
the first one between the digibox and the antenna
and the second one between the digibox and the TV
but what about the DVD player
should I connect the antenna to the DVD player
and the DVD player to the digibox
and the digibox to the TV
then I would need three antenna cables
and that sounds like too many
but why are there connectors for antenna cables in the DVD player
if you're not supposed to connect something to them
if the Playstation had antenna connecters I would surely lose my mind
have I done something wrong
should I have connected the DVD player to the TV
and the digibox to the DVD player
I wish I could leave something out
but without the digibox I can't watch TV
without the Playstation I can't play
and without the DVD player I can't watch all of my DVD's
because when I try to watch an NTSC DVD with a PAL Playstation
the picture is bad and black & white
but on my TV stand there's not enough room for all of them
because you shouldn't put them on top of each other
I might get the digibox to fit vertically next to the TV
if I moved the Playstation and the Chinese vases
but the DVD player and the Playstation still won't fit
and there's no way they ever will.

"Have I killed this thread?"
cried a poet not named Fred.
"For if I am to blame
I shall bow my head in shame."

"Oh no, don't blame yourself!"
said a frisky little elf.
"This thread is still alive
so let's go and have some pie."

Does anyone read these? No? Good. Here's my new piece of gothic horror poetry:

Bear Man Circles

I bear the mark of a bear
on my lower shoulder
it brings me down you see
but only the left side
when I try to walk straight
my shoes pull left
I walk around traffic circles
until the full moon comes

And here's two haikus:

Awe

Solid ice sculptures
and fictional train stations
make me want to cry.

Origin of lemons

Lemons grow in trees
and the trees grow in the ground.
Where does the ground grow?

Useless Purchase

I

Today it occurred to me
that 'useless' almost rhymes with 'purchase'
so I considered it my responsibility to write a poem with those words in it
and here it is

II

Many purchases are useless
and that's why the word purchase
almost rhymes with the word useless

Many purchases you have to chase
and that's why the word purchase
almost rhymes with the word chase

Many poems are bad
and that's why the word poem
doesn't rhyme with the word good at all

But some poems are good
and that's why the word poem
doesn't rhyme with the word bad either

My poems are like spam
when they come in a can
anyone who wants to read them
will need a can opener then
most people would use a fork
so if you don't you're a dork

Fresh fruit came down upon my head
like a glistering snowstorm in May
kaboom! said the apple to the lemon
(that's not quite what I expected)
kaboom! said the lemon to the ape
a tropical rain of fruits and banjos
and girls with short hair (on their heads)
who cried for peace and waved their hands
the peaches misheard them and thought
what's up and what's down down down...
(the banjos left and the men followed)
what do you want with us?
said the leader of the peaches
and the girl got confused
and jumped in the lake
and the peach followed
and the girl catched the peach
and the peach catched the girl
and they both said
if this was a poem, whoa!
then the girl said
but this is a poem!
and the peach said
I wonder if anyone's reading it?
and the girl wondered the same
(if you're reading this, let me know)
and the men got back
and the banjos followed
and said to the peach
what are you doing there?
and who's there with you?
and the peach said I jumped in this lake
and the girl followed
and said I'm one of the girls with short hair
who fell from the sky with the fruit
the ape the banjos and the men
and the men played the banjos
and the song was about peace
peaches apes men and girls
with short hair (on their heads)
and when they had played that song
they played another
that was about broccoli
and it went like this:
broccoli, broccoli, broccoli-o-o-o-o-o!
then the girl said
if this really is a poem
it should end about now
(of course it didn't and the girl got sad)
the girl cried and the peach cried with her
but none of the men cried because they couldn't
because they had been in the war
and defeated the marshmallows
and coffee and tea and orangutans
the general looked at the ape and said
boy, you sure look like an orangutan!
and the ape said I'm not though
so the general said oh, whatever
and so the poem ended
(and the girl stopped crying)
