Well I just built pretty much an all-new comp with top-of-the-line everything, so I'm going back and playing all the games I used to play at low settings and finally now seeing them in all their glory. Right now I'm deeply into Oblivion.

After San Andreas, I can't imagine Rockstar going back to one city. I really liked the trailor though. The graphics look much better than I expected and the Russian mafia idea seems interesting. I wasn't expecting it to be in Liberty City again, but as long as they give us some other locations in the game I'll be happy. |

Saints Row I love it, it's a rip off of GTA, but more fun! And I love the radio stations, especially the conservative one...it's hilarious.
Also Company of Heros. Anyone play it? GREAT game there.

This month I have mostly been playing (sorry if anyone else made this joke):
A very good and, as usual, highly addictive game.

I've been playing Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan!
So freakishly awesome that it must be played to be believed. |

Ok...the trailer was pretty cool.
It looks like GTA IV is either set in a replica of NY or an updated Liberty City. The graphics are absolutely gorgeous,it looks so real it must be seen to be believed.
It also appears that the main character is either a Russian mobster or an ex-mobster.
Rockstar is really tight with details of the GTA games, but I hope there is more than one big city.In SA we had a whole state, with 3 cities and huge sections of country, woods and desert, with all kinds of small towns thrown in. Edited by TheProgtologist - March 30 2007 at 10:36 |

Yeah...the good old days.I played GTA(the first) on the computer, and thought it was very cool.
They have a GTA game for the Gameboy Advance called GTA Advance that features the old-school,top down view.It really reminds me of the first two GTA games.

I just get very immersed in the world, and with the case of SA,used to just explore for hours at a time.
And all the games that are "like that" are clones(bad ones),or outright rip-off's.GTA was there first. One of the things I love about GTA is all the little secrets, easter eggs, and humor in the game.Plus all the GTA games tie in together so there are a lot of "in-jokes".I just have a great time playing them, and that is what counts.

personally i find that GTA can be boring after several times, the gameplay mostly similar, there're lots of games like that recently
but that's just my opinion anyway |

For all my fellow GTA freaks, remember the first trailer for Grand Theft Auto IV will be released at 6pm EST today. You can try the official GTA IV site but I know from experience that the server will be absolutely bogged down, but you should be able to view it all over the net.
Rockstar has promised way more than a quick teaser trailer, they said this first trailer will give you a pretty comprehensive look at the new game.

Here's a blast from the past...
Elite Frontier, the space trading / combat game that was so popular on the Amiga computer in the 1980s! |

was playing a lot of San Andreas and Ratchet and Clank. Now I'm doing a tourny on Winning Eleven 9.
I also reinstalled Syndicate Plus a couple days ago. OLD SCHOOL. |

One of my friend didn't like the Zora suit either, I thought it looked really cool, especially when Link was underwater.

I think it looked silly, as did the Zora suit armor thing. The game was easy though, so it was pretty useless, I never needed invincibility, and I never really used potions/fairies either...

Yea, unfortunately, the magic armor was really crappy... it drained rupees too fast. It was cool looking though.

I really haven't played any video games at all lately. I have TP for Gamecube and will probably sell those after I beat it. I'm satisfied with my 360 (even though I only have 3 games). I think after I beat Zelda I'll start a new character in Oblivion.
Yeah, the Magic Armor is really lame. I miss not having a better shield than the Hylian sword too, and it's fun having a two handed one. |

^^ I think graphically, it's exactly the same if I'm not mistaken. Also, the world is a mirror image of the Wii version, if you didn't already know that. The controls are fine, I have no problem with them.
