Topic: Dissappearing Reviews Posted: March 09 2007 at 02:41 |
A couple of hours ago I wrote a review for Yes, Close to the Edge (yes I know its been done to death) I submitted it and then the page went to thiss unable to access this page thing "please refresh". I tried going back but the page was gone. I was really annoyed for a bit, and I've come back to this website and have noticed that their havn't been any new reviews for a few hours, I know that sometimes there is a quiet night concerning reviews, but I also thought have other people wriiten reviews and the same problem happened?
So I'm asking is it possible to retrieve my review and has anyone else experience the same problem I encountered. I'm sorry that I am unclear but I just don't know all the technological jargon.

I hope you saved the review in your PC as I am looking forward to reading it. I really like your reviews.

I'm sorry for being pessimistic, but if you didn't save the review anywhere (and didn't even "copy" it), it can not be retrieved.

Thankyou , unfortunately I didn't save it I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to computers, which is a shame because I was quite pleased with what I had written.

I wrote review about Jethro Tull's 'Stand Up' album which appeared regularly but all of a sudden had dissapeared; however, it is listed in my review overview but without text !

At about 1000 reviews of mine have disappeared, otherwise I would have been #1 on the Most Prolific Reviewers list, I am sure this has to do with a Belgian collaborator

It's always best to write the review offline and save it, then to copy and paste it inot the submit review box.
1,000 missing reviews Erik?! Must have been all those ones of Slade, Sweet, Mud, Spandau Ballet etc., which were considered inappropriate.

that's what I specifically do all the time. In fact, I do more. All my reviews are saved as word in the computer, plus printed out (normally it takes two pages per a review). I have about two glossars of Rico reviews in my room's small, private library.

We kicked your arses out of our country in 1830 and although our football is going to shreds and down the dumps, we will lie , cheat, deceive and trick you into defeat as well on the field !!!
Remember I still have some sixty reviews (check it out on my profile collab page) that do not count, because not long enough (not that they are necessarily worthy though, some are almost pranks ) , without even counting the reviews I have re-written a few times.

I also happen to have lost over 2000 reviews in a terrible accident. Could a site's admin correct my real review count and put me in the lead of the table?

Just be content to reach 1000 before I reach 2000

Peace, my Dutch / Belgian comrades. As a Nederbelg with pastoral experience I'm willing to mediate for a reasonable price
