Quick question, the song Wake up Sunshine by CHicago is a great song, but it has that AWESOME ending section that is very prog like...but does everyones version just sort of CUT off? Anti-climactic???
 
Im hoping its just my CD, thats pretty dumb...they could have done so much with that line

Yeah heard it - it just cuts off like that...that's why Chicago's not quite prog. Wink
 
However, if you want to hear as Chicago get as close to prog as possible...check out their fantastic first album...
 
(Terry Kath has to be one of the most underrated guitar players of all time!)

i know that song fairly well, i have most Chicago albums on vinyl but i'll check that anyway, though i wouldn't have thought of Chicago as Prog, they're difficult to catergorize, maybe jazz-rock.

thanks, yeah, i LOVE when that part kicks in but i wish it continued, im going to do my own version!!!Tongue
