Seems nobobody noticed how bad referee is Rlizondo.
First Rooney red card was an abuse.
Two Portuguese players including Cristiano Ronaldo, made foul penalties using the forbiden "PARADINHA".
The penalty must be shoot directly with no kind of tricks and this two Portuguese players stopped while running to shoot the penalty.
But Elizondo wanted Portugal to win and said nothing at all, those two penaties should have been repetead as the British one.
Seems everybody wants a Brazil Germany final.

The Rooney sending off was a joke.
C.Ronaldo cannot return to Man Utd now-he's just booked his ticket to Real.
Ah well, next up Brazil and France........lets hope we get a football game!
I think I want Brazil to win but France will be very dangerous and I have a hunch they will take this 2-1

Thanks Dr. Evil for your words about Germany, now I know I am not the only one on this Forum who is complaining about their eternal luck ... ![Wink](https://www.progarchives.com/forum/smileys/smiley2.gif) ... and I am afraid that the game against Italy will be a 'diving contest' ![LOL](https://www.progarchives.com/forum/smileys/smiley36.gif) !

That's what I think as well.
It's all Sepp Blatters fault. he intefered with the referees, meaning the refereeing has been sh*t throughout.
The referee was an absolute disgrace. What exactly was Wayne Rooney sent off for? I think it was the little push on Ronaldo. He saw the accidental stamp in the groin before and did nothing, so it must have been the push on that little pansy Ronaldo.
I hope in the Man Utd training ground Wayne Rooney commits the dirtiest fouls imaginable on Ronaldo.

I just hope that Brazil-France will finish after 90 minutes. I hate penalty shoot-out.
We Italians too have terrible memories about penalty shoot-out..

Portuguese players are fa,mous for making the PARADINHA.
A penalty by Simao Sabrosa was repeated in the Bemfica vs Dinamo Zagreb because he made that sudden stop during the penalty (UEFA 2004) but Elizondo allowed two Portuguese players to so so.
This stinks.

Stamping on someone's bollocks isn't exactly in the spirit of the game.

Shame England lost- I don't think they deserved to whatsoever. Atrocious refereeing (as has been sadly typical in this contest- no way was that a red card, imo- sadly I feel this has prevented any great quality football) Sven's tactics were downright strange however and even if they'd have won, England would have been left with, more or less, one striker in the semi final, unless he made the decision to play the shockingly inexperienced Walcott. So all in all, dire mismanagement and refereeing effectively rendered the England/Portugal game a disappointing affair.

I know, it's a crying shame we missed the chance to see the gracious Diego offering sincere condolences to the losing German team, and merely applauding, in a controlled and, above all dignified manner, to show his appreciation of the victorious, yet modest Argentine team......"We were a little bit lucky, I have to admit" said Diego, "the German team fought well, and on another day might have beaten us. I congratulate them. Meanwhile, I shall celebrate quietly, and in private, so as not to inflame the sensitivities of the losing fans." ![Wink](https://www.progarchives.com/forum/smileys/smiley2.gif) |

Look, his back was turned, it was obviously an accident. Anyway the referee saw that gave the free kick, wasn't going to send him off at that point.
But then the Portugese crowded him and Rooney gave that little shove, that's what got him sent off.
