Hi All!
 
Not too long time ago I have noticed a strange thing!
 
I simply do not understand how an album (any album) is calculated.
 
Example:
 
let's take this CD:
 
The rating says 3.67. Only two votes: 3 and 4 stars.
 
The most logical thing will be to calculate like this: (1*3+1*4)/2=3.5
Why is it 3.67?
 
And it's like this everywhere!!!
 
PA admins, could you explain this?

Weighed ratings: installed to avoid fanboys skewing the overall top lists:
 
three points/stars for a written collab review
two points/star for another written review
one point/star for a non-review rating
 
 
 
So in your case: most likely the 4* rating was a non-collab review and the three star was non-reviewed
 
2 X 4* = 8 and 1 X 3* = 3
 
8 + 3 = 11 / 3 (since the average is three ratings and not two) = 3.67
