Sleeper is a DT reference, but I only went with it because The Miracle was already taken.

Portmanteau of "Zappa" and "alcoholic".
Although I'm not an alcoholic, I don't even drink much.....

Abstrakt sounds mysterious... and the misspelling "k" makes it more mystic!

It's the name I've been using on another forum for a few years now, and
it's a song by In Flames, one of the bands which let me into metal,
which led me into prog etc. etc.
And the simple abbreviation MMG makes it pretty easy and recognizable.

Ed The Dead - it sounds quite cheesy, plus its an Iron Maiden reference...

A mispelling of the first track on Moonmadness, "Aristilus."
According to BaldJean/Friede, it means "little butt" in Latin (or something like that).

Mine's been an Internet net since I was about 18 or so (I'm not 25). I used to frequent a chatroom and needed a name and it popped into my head. Initially it was just Gecko, but one day someone had that name so I changed it and it's stuck.
I've actually discovered another dude in America with the exact same version of my name, it's disheartening!

As for my nickname, it's the pseudonym I use for my musical fumblings. It's a quality I wish human beings had more of.
