It took a long time, but now my friend finally likes Yes. I played Going For The One and Awaken for him and now he's asking for some more albums to borrow.
This is an electrified fairytale

I like trying to share prog with open minded friends but I mostly get from the narrow ones
"What a load of wank"
"How long does this song go for?"
and my least faviourite one when I showed my mates a DT concert
"That singer guy must have the worse job in the world, he sings like two words and then goes off stage for half an hour"

"You'll never get f*k because of listening to that music all the time"

That was my childhood friend.I haven't seen him for ages.We use to listen to RAP years ago,and then he moved to another town.Few weeks ago he returned for some days, and I got to show him what I'm listening to now.

NB:He has a well-payed job and a new wh*re every evening. He says he's satisfied with his life.I'd like to believe him

"What a crap...where the hell is growl?"
-from the guys with whom I play Doom-metal in my town...this happens everytime I'm listening to prog with them...only Opeth or Tool make them good:"Oh,well, that's close to what I call "Music"

BTW,my mommy likes LACRIMOSA,DREAM THEATER's ballads, guitaristic Neo-prog(COLLAGE,PENDRAGON,RED SAND,CLEPSYDRA and surely MARILLION) and some classic rock:PINK FLOYD,CAMEL,URIAH HEEP,DIRE STRAITS,IRON MAIDEN(!!!) and even OZZY!!!("Why they all call him a Devil? He's a nice clever guy,and his wife is a very smart woman").She also likes "Epitaph" from KC and "Easy" from Curved Air.
My father(he gave first guitar lessons ) likes BEATLES,DEEP PURPLE,URIAH HEEP,PINK FLOYD,OMEGA,AVTOGRAF,PESNIARY etc.I REALLY don't who was the first from them to listen to rock-music...I always thought that my dad introduced my mom to rock-world...but just look at her tastes!!!I guess I'll wake up one day to see my mommy digging in my CDs saying:"Where is Gentle Giant's Glass House?"
