Just finished Shadow of the Colossus...awesome, just incredible. One of the few games that are fine art and fun to play. Now I've got to go back and try Ico.

Call of Cthulhu is still kicking my sorry ass, sad to say. Damn Fishmen!

I saw a review in a gaming magazine for Final Fantasy XII.  I really can't wait for it.  With XII, Grandia III, and the new Dragon Warrior game, it may be a very good year for RPGs.

I don't like that in order to play some parts of the game the gamer has to play as a wolf.  I've always hated changing characters in games.  I didn't like that in Majora's Mask.  The masks just made the game uninteresting.  I wanted to save the land as Link, not as a Goron, Deku Scrub, Goron, or some other creature.  I'd rather just play as Link and use the proper tools.  This doesn't discourage me from playing and enjoying a game, but I'd enjoy the game more if I was just one character.

I sold my Gamecube two years ago, so I probably won't be able to play the new Zelda game.

Dam fishermen!

James, Ontario Hydro informs us that it is very dangerous to fish off a dam. Water levels can change dramatically and unpredictably. Observe and obey all warning signs, markers, and buoys!Stern Smile

If there's one thing the last decade of Hollywood releases has taught us, it's that remakes can often stray significantly from the spirit of the original and still be entertaining, in and of themselves.

Really enjoying it so far. Turn-based RPGs aren't my favorite (I'll take Elder Scrolls over Final Fantasy any day) but this one may just win me over. Plus, I love Silent Hill and this has some of the same dark mystic/ demonic/ apocalyptic creepiness. Definitely not one for the kiddies!

I am playing Freedom Fighters (PS2) right now. The story is somewhat lame but the game is great. Otherwise I love the Hitman games and The Legend of Zelda - series. I'm really looking forward to both Hitman - Blood Money and Zelda - Twillight Princess this year.

I haven't played any of the Dragon Quest games, but it may be a worthy invenstment.  (not for the demo).  Yeah, Final Fantasy games are incredibly addictive when they come out.  I can't play anything else for months.
