I quite enjoy Motorsport and have been to the F1 British GP at Silverstone.

Arcer's yer man for this, the lucky so-and-so is a professional F1 journalist and has just returned from Shanghai after covering the GP there.

I like stock car racing, mainly Nascar.

F1 racing isn't real big over here.

And also, for some people that know a little more about this, what is the difference between F1 and Indy car racing?

An American always wins in IndyCar?

F1 has way way way betetr racers than Indy Car Racing. Just look at the roster list and you can see.

But is there a difference in the race cars themselves?Or are they the same?

F1 cars are technically more advanced, more powerfull and dont drive on full oval circuits (indy doesnt count)

and snow dog i only asked as ive never seen any one else mention racing here

the brit Dan Wheldon won this years Indy 500 and IRL title, the americans are useless!

I enjoy most forms of racing. NASCAR, F1, Indy...has long as it has four wheels and turns ill watch it.

It sucks here tho. The F1 races are on twice. Once live, and then once more at some other time. I usually miss both

Yeah...most of time its in the morning. Tho the ones near the US arent too bad. And the Japanese and chinese was like 1 and 2 in the morning...not too bad.

Haha...yeah indy was something. But it allowed MS to win this year...without it this season would have been a complete loss

Yeah, i guess. I'm not the biggest MS fan. I think that they proved there point about fixing his domination tho. They install new rules, ferrari (sp??) goes down the tubes. Personally i think they need to change the tire rule back. O well, what can i do.

And im a KR fan...i wanted him to win, but he didnt deserve to, so i guess things worked how they should of this year.

I'm not that much into speed - which is ironic, as I live in one of the few
countries with no speed limits on the open road.
