I always thought the line in Every Breath You Take was "I'm a pool hall ace": it's really "how my poor heart aches."  Listen to how he enunciates it, and you can see why one could be confused...

My mother thought that in Thuderstruck from AC/DC, they were saying "Fantasia" instead of thunderstruck in the chorus.

Excuse her, she's speaking real better in french than english (like me actually).

"A Flower!!!"
"If you go down to Willow farm, you look for Butterflies..."

anyway. progwise, Meshuggah's "Rational Gaze" (Track 2 on Nothing) 2nd verse says something like "our light induced, image of truth" but the first bit sounds more like "I LIKE JUICE!" it always makes me laugh cos its like the singer is shouting his prefered fluid out randomly in an extremely heavy metal song!

Does anyone else hear this? The track is available on meshuggahs profile in these archives if you want to hear it.

YES!  OMG!      I got that album when it first came out, and a friend and I were listening to it for the first time..  and we heard that, looked at each other, rewound it, heard it again, and after yet another confirmation, we decided that we KNEW that Jens was speaking of his favorite beverage, and we never consulted the lyrics booklet.   We shouted that a lot!

YEAH! I knew i cudn't be the only one! Im glad you do agree, and from the pics i've seen you look like a cool metalhead, good to see you are into your metal, keep grinding that axe!

NO WAY!!IT IS FALSE!!

That was actually a review made when some guy thought he is special and said that...But if you hear that part of the song a little closer with your ear to the jukebox, you'll hear that it clearly says (this is my favourite part of the post ):ONE OF THESE DAYS i am going to CUT YOU INTO LITTLE PIECES!

Cheers...

Well I've found one also. I remember we usally sang it after drinking too much...

Although we knew Bruce Dickinson was singing : " 666 the number of the beast", we thought "668 the neighbour of the beast" was sounding even better !
