yeah, great idea! Some prog bands have beautiful lyrics (especially Jethro Tull's Ian Anderson, I love 'Aqualung' and 'My God')

It's a goos idea, specially if it centers around lyrics not easy to find and not featured in the CD booklets. For us, non anglo speakers, is essential, since lyrics are usually one of the most important things in prog for people tired of 'I love you bebe/don't you know what you mean to me/I love u till the end of time etc'.

Also, as this site seems to be getting more and more multilingual, it can be good if some of us can translate lyrics into english. I'd love, for example, to know the complete meaning of Locanda della Fate lyrics (just what I could understand seemed really great).

Well... in fact most of it! . My knowledge of italian comes, besides the obvious similarities with spanish, from Franco Battiato. . Although I can traslate the title of the album... it's sooooo beautiful .

 I LIKE this idea!Clap
"And, has thou slain the Jabberwock?
Come to my arms, my beamish boy!
O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!'
He chortled in his joy.

It would be a great addition to the site to have the lyrics added into the database. Just imagine clicking on an album's track title and then the lyrics would appear on a small popup window...or it could just appear below all the album's info in the following way:

Band's name

  • AlbumTitle
  • Track list
  • Line-up
  • Release Information
  • Lyrics

Cheers!
