It was quite exquisite.  The bands were all superb, but the two best acts were Present and Kenso, in my opinion.  There were many vendors there, so you could find just about any prog cd ever made. Plus, Roger Dean, Paul Whitehead, and Annie Haslam were there.  Can't wait for next year!
And I am not frightened of dying, any time will do, I
don't mind. Why should I be frightened of dying?
There's no reason for it, you've gotta go sometime.
I never said I was frightened of dying.

I saw only the Preshow with PFM and Proto-Kaw.  It was fantastic. Both bands played great sets.  BTW I loved the setting for the festival too.

I was at nearfest and it was my first time (WOW I WAS IN HEAVEN)

With the friday night line-up I was very satisfied (I could go home and be happy)

PROTO-KAW & PFM put the bar very hight for the others performers

WOBBLER = very good   KNIGHT AREA = GOOD  IQ = EXCELLENT  LE ORME = FANTASTIC

KENSO = EXCELLENT  FROGG CAFÉ & THE MUFFINS = too jazz not my style

PRESENT = too weird for me  MATTEW PARMENTER =  nice good musician and entertainer

STEVE ROACH = nice too, spacey music (like Tangerine Dream). AND I CANNOT WAIT FOR

NEXT YEAR (ALREADY 2 ACTS THAT I WANT TO SEE= ANGE & FM )   POTS
