Kayo dot formally known as Maudlin of the well (some pieces are VERY heavy though!)

	I agree, myself being an Opeth fan. I also think Cynic should appear in the archives. I was surprised to see no mention of Cynic in the Gordian Knot archive, as it was Sean Malone's early 90's jazz-fusion-esque metal project and deserves at least a recommendation. Adding technical metal acts like Death and Atheist would be nice, too. Nice work, otherwise. But I'm having trtouble finding the Harvest archive.

	I think Opeth will get added. I've been pleading their case for some time. Max has a lot of artists to consider though, so give it time.

	I don't know Opeth, but will check them out. Death may be technical, but so are/were Celtic Frost, Megadeth and a host of other so-called thrash metal bands. It's easy to miss the technicalities of what these great bands do if all you hear is "noise", because you aren't listening properly. It's a bit like looking at one of those 3d posters - you know, the ones where you only see a messy pattern until you look in a certain way, then the picture stands out in a quite spectacular way. They do fall into a grey area, however, as that style is clearly recognisable as a style in its own right, and I don't really hear them as prog. If any more progressive Metal bands are added, then Diamond Head (the very first prog metal band) should be added first, IMO.

	YES. Opeth, Cynic, Novembre are making music that's expanding the boundaries of progressive.

	I'm not a big C.F. fan either. I do think we could definitely add another subgenre for the heavier stuff. Lots of bands put out things that could be considered prog. Nevermore for instance. Queensryche is here, so they are just a heavier version. But then again, pretty soon we'd have to include Emperor & Dimmu Borgir (they use keyboards!!!) and a whole host of others. Don't get me wrong I love those guys, but we'd probably run everyone else off. I think the issue is that so many Death/Black/Doom bands were very heavily influenced by early prog. Take Candlemass. You can hear definite elements of prog in their music. The same with Tiamat and Amorphis..... you get my point. So maybe instead we should lobby for a new category in the overarching genre. (I know, just what prog or metal needs, another damn category. But maybe it'll help)
