Just in case if anyone doesn't know TM is on this site: http://www.progarchives.com/artist.asp?id=3138

I love Last Train Out, but that's all I know of them.

I love Kevin Gilbert and happen to think the Toy Matinee album is one of the most brilliant pop albums ever.If you are really liking TM check out Kevin Gilbert Performs Toy Matinee Live which his estate just released this year.

Do you just mean Things She Said? Because that's another awesome song of theirs.

I like a little less proggy All the Things She Said.
There's a point where "avant-garde" and "experimental" becomes "terrible" and "pointless,"

I discovered this band yesterday through Twitter and I have fallen in love particularly with the song 'Last Plane Out'. Even though I'm certain I've never heard it before, it sounds like I could've heard it on the radio while growing up. It is absolutely fantastic; that is all I can say. The link below is just the song. There is a music video for it (should be on the right of the page if you want to see that), but this is the full version of the song.

RIP Kevin Gilbert
