Yeah, check the BBC F1 website, there's a good article there about what Pirelli are doing this year with the tyres.

Also, Caterham are the first team to launch their new car with the CT01

Really bad news, Peugeot have announced their immediate withdrawl from Sportscar racing today, I dont think any one saw that coming.Unhappy

It's a real shame, last years Le Mans was probably the best race I saw all year with the huge battle between Audi and Peugeot, and Toyota's first LMP car for 13 years only hit the track for the first time monday. I guess now its just a case of which Audi will do the winning.

^Yes, but only 14 months ago they were on pole in Brazil, things change quite quickly.

Also, it's Senna in a Williams-Renault, spooky.

Yeah but Williams are an average team at the moment.

Congratulations to Stephan Peterhansel on winning a 10th Dakar rally yesterday (5 on bikes, 5 in cars).

Yeah, Ben Edwards.  I had actually read his name first and had forgotten it, so when you said Anderson, I didn't click it was incorrect.

Anyone has to be better than Jonathan Ledgard.

A good team but only 10 live races.

Yes he is, he did the commentary on the digital F1 channel 10 years ago, A1GP and for the last couple of years the BTCC for ITV.

And I've just realised his name is Ben Edwards and not Anderson!EmbarrassedI think they've still got a strong team, its amazing how many interviews they get just because its Eddie Jordan asking, and Gary Anderson knows a thing or two about car design.

As a viewer of F1, this forthcoming season is going to be shocking.

I may have be forced to stream races.  Sorry BBC and Sky (nah, I'm not sorry, Sky, you thieving b*****ds).

I don't know this new guy Ben Anderson... is he any good, Andy?  I notice he's been in the business quite some time.

We still have to put up with Jake Humphrey though.  I can cope with that however.

Ugh that sucks.

Well, he difinietly wouldnt be able to have made the start of this season before the break. Its a case of waiting for the nerves to heal in his right hand so that he can regain the mobility to drive an F1 car again.

Interestingly, the other day Alonso came out and said that Kubica is the best driver in F1. Considering that the two are good friends and as long as he can regain his fitness, I think he has a good chance of taking Massa's seat for next year.

Well, that is what we all were hoping for! Big smile Would be a great sight.

There's the physical and mental barriers to get over, as well as being out of the sport for so long. Though Schumi came back after years and pretty much was as quick as the car would take him (well a bit off Rosberg's pace). I just hope Kubica can make a 100% recovery to racing, would be a shame is he was ok but never quite that same pace again. He was certainly up there with the tops.

I dont hink you can use Schumacher as a comparison, other than the fact that he was still recovering from a serious broken neck when he returened. But Schumy is in his forties and was past his best when he first retired, wheras Kubica is in his 20's and coming into his prime. Kimi will make for a better comparison.

Yes, before he took over lead duties when Murry Walker retired.

Didn't James Allen do the ITV pitside commentary?

He signed for Sky last November, with ben Anderson taking his place at the BBC. Ted Kravitz also signed for Sky but ex Jordan tech director Gary Anderson will take on tech analysis duties and James Allen will be the 5Live commentator.

Also, its been confirmed yesterday that Adrian Sutil will stand trial in Germany this year for injuring renault team manager Eric Lux in a club in China after Hamiltons win last year. I think his chances of landing the Williams seat just disappeared, which leaves Senna and Barichello.
