"A delightfully mellifluous selection. They won't be Norway's best kept secret much longer." JERRY EWING, CLASSIC ROCK PROG

Kscope is pleased to announce the latest signing to our roster, Norwegian act GazpachoGazpacho were formed in Oslo in 1996 by childhood friends Jon-Arne Vilbo and Thomas Andersen along withJan-Henrik Ohme (later joined by Mikael Krømer, Lars Eric Asp andKristian Torp), and have spent the last 15 years honing their unique sound over a string of critically acclaimed albums and numerous tours, including several with long-time supporters Marillion. Until this point all the band’s releases have either been self-released or on Marillion’s Racket Records label but the band have now signed to Kscope who are set to give an international release to the band’s latest album Missa Atropos, which has previously only been available in Germany.

Front man Jan Henrik Ohme has explained that the band have made the decision to ’get our music out to our fans around the world, and we're all looking forward to working with such an excellent group of people’.

Jon-Arne Vilbo adds;

‘we will be joining bands such as Porcupine Tree, Anathema, Blackfield, to mention a few, which is the perfect fit for Gazpacho while staying true to the term: “different music”. We believe Kscope understand who our fans are and understand how to reach out to them. So… while they’re phoning their bank to borrow gazillions for their promo budget, we hope our new friends will help us in bringing you the music that you crave.’

The Kscope edition of Missa Atropos will be available in Feb 2011 and will come packaged in a deluxe digibook. The album is now available to pre-order on the Missa Atropos mini-site which is now online. The Missa Atropos mini-site features album info, downloads and more along with the chance to download a free MP3 of the track River when signing up to the mailing list.

Porcupine Tree
Recordings - Vinyl Edition

Porcupine Tree’s latest album The Incident has recently been nominated for a Grammy in the best surround sound mix category. The album marked another step forward in the incredible journey of the band from a solo studio project created by Steven Wilson in the late eighties to a top 40 act and one of the world’s most revered live bands, selling out arenas across the globe and wowing fans with their incredible performances.

As the band’s popularity has grown over the years, fans have been eager to explore their back catalogue and earlier pieces have become highly collectable with deleted albums, EPs and promos regularly changing hands on eBay for over a hundred pounds. The jewel in many fans collections is Recordings, a highly sought-after CD originally released in 2001 as a limited (20,000) edition release featuring songs written during theStupid Dream and Lightbulb Sun sessions.

Recordings has now been reissued on Kscope which provides the band’s new legions of fans with the chance to own this important part of the band’s history.

In addition to the digibook CD edition, the album will shortly also be available on vinyl for the first time. This double heavyweight (180gm) vinyl edition comes in a gatefold sleeve with printed inner sleeves and is only available from theKscope store.
