ARE YOU KIDDING ME or Wot !!? in Rock is a real excellent Hard rock album , Zep3 is a real amazing album , maybe the best of Led Zep , but if this is your real opinion about Salisbury & Paranoid , i recommend Therion & Evergrey for you KID !

Any pool - 70's Hard rock - Zep will allways comes up front, in my book.
The Purple album, is quite a bit behind.
The other two, lightyears.

Hi,
Zep ... the others are not even close! And 2 of them are over rated stuff! And I kinda doubt that anyone would listen to Black Sabbath if their name was any different!

In Rock is a freaking masterpiece of, well, hard rock. I'd say it's Deep Purple's best. LZ III is a solid Zep album. Paranoid and Salisbury are what they are, which would be not particularly great albums from the bands that recorded them. So there ya go.

As much as I respect LZ's tremendous influence on rock and their brilliance in their individual capacities, their tendency to write rambling blues excursions as opposed to well rounded songs has always been a sore point with me and such is the case with LZ3. Salisbury is in my opinion a rather overrated, though very good album. That leaves Paranoid and In Rock. Choc-a-bloc with classic both, but I will hand it to Paranoid for Warpigs and Electric Funeral.

Paranoid is my favourite of the bunch, with Salisbury a VERY close second, and In Rock a close third....and Led Zeppelin 3 is just average.
