I actually read the articles because I was bored at the auto shop, their profile of him is reasonably positive, but they're not obligated to be positive in the Person of the Year award, it's explicitly stated the winner is the most influential, for better or worse. As I recall, they have said that they're not under any obligation to hold to the results of the online poll (since it was rigged by 4chan and reddit anyway because they're pathetic). They probably switched it because they had already written the article, and the one about Mark Zuckerburg was at least twice as long and they didn't want to lose such a long cover story. It was also disgustingly sycophantic, but I really doubt the Pentagon cares about Time's Person of the Year award. 

That XKCD sucks, but that's not surprising. 

For those who missed it, JJ is talking about this, but it's not really personal information Pat, it's just more government documents. :P
