I agree with the part that the originality oscillates to around zero but everyone does these days.. Who can be original when all the good music was all ready made...

example: dream Theater are copy cats of Rush/metallica/maiden/pink floyd/ zappa/Megadeth/yes etc.....
Porcupine tree: Pink floyd/king crimson/rush.
Opeth: iron Maiden/Venon/Black Sabbath/Camel/pink floyd/king crimson
Bearfish: gentle giant/King Crimson/ Genesis.

Never saw them live, but judging from the track I've heard, they're quite mediocre in my opinion.

The Watch are top-notch neo prog act, who can also make a great show of Genesis music - saw them once and definitely will not forget it, it was so amazing
yet you still have time!
