Well, from what I know, all these zines have their own websites (I'm often on the forum of Traverses)
Otherwise, we have Progressia http://www.progressia.net/ and Amarokprog. There must be plenty of other sites that I don't know yet. |

^ Do they have websites? Actually, are there any internet forums and websites dedicated to prog in France? I'm living in France for the moment and I would like to have a better contact with the people interested in prog from around.

In France, we have several "pro-zines", but hardly some magazines. There was "Rock Time" in the 90's. Occasionaly, some rock magazines write about progressive rock.
Nowadays, the main pro-zines are: - Koid'9: the most professional. Sympho Prog, Neo Prog, Prog Metal... - Traverses which focus on R.I.O., new progressive musics, Zheul, improv music... - Ascension and Muzik Zheul are dedicated to Magma; - Big Bang, - Acid Dragon; - Cosmiccaggibi, a prozine interested in "cosmic" electronic music such as Tangerine Dream, Klaus Schulze or even Pierre Schaeffer. |

In the Netherlands, there is a prog mag since about 1980, which evolved from a small black / yellow booklet to a full colour professional magazine, which appears monthly. They have had many interviews with almost all the big and small prog names throughout the world, and many, many reviews. The magazine is called iO Pages and it's in Dutch. They were my introduction to prog. My guess it that iO Pages is the biggest and most professional prog magazine in the world.
In the Netherlands there also used to be Background Magazine. Maybe they also still exist nowadays. Less interviews (if any?), but interesting information for prog collectors and in English.
IO Pages used to be my introduction to prog. These days I get my prog information mostly from the internet, though, mostly, and mostly from ProgArchives.

There was an issue of MOJO magazine, called "Pink Floyd, and the story of prog"
It has some awesome articles. If anyone is interested, I'm happy to type up some of the articles OR scan then when I have some free time... |

"The coverage realm includes progressive rock. progressive metal, avant-garde/experimental, neo-classical, fusion, jazz, improvisational, free-form, ambient/space/new age, symphonic, progressive folk, and other niches of eclectic musical expression." Sounds like my kind of mag. Thanks for the tip. |

Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...

Here is a link to Progression magazine, which is a quarterly progressive rock journal. I usually find some good articles and interesting album reviews in here. Also, it is one of those strange magazines where you actually enjoy reading the advertisements as they are almost all regarding progressive rock albums and labels.

Not specifically a prog mag, but Classic Rock is generally favourable towards prog and even had a free prog compilation CD a few months back.
