Most diacritics in most cases aren't shown properly. Sometimes it is possible to see them in their "intended" way (i.e. as they should look), by changing the encoding mood (or how do you call it?) of every page (which is annoying), but sometimes even this doesn't work.

Noted. After the forum update umlauts and other diacritics or what-was-the-word-again have been working on and off, probably due to changes M@X is making behind the scenes. Will let him know, thanks for reporting!

lately there seems to be a problem with umlauts in posts. umlauts are used in German; they are As, Os and Us with two dots on top. since I am not sure they will show here I try to describe them. anyway, here they are: ä ö ü. these umlauts often disappear and are shown as question marks then. the strange thing is there seems to be no rule behind this, because sometimes they stay
