Vocalist guessing game: Vocalist #2 *SPOILERS*

The second vocalist for the seventh Ayreon album was recorded in the Electric Castle Studio yesterday. We're not revealing the name of the vocalist just yet, but you can listen to an *acapella* sample of the voice (without instruments added) here.

The first vocalist you could guess was Magali Luyten (Virus IV, Beautiful Sin).

 
Anyone have an idea? I think possibly Irene Jansen Smile

Wow! - On first listening I thought it was a man singing. I have not heard of this singer before but it looks like she is going to really hit big time with Arjen behind her. I really love that voice. For those curious for more info on Magali you can go to her MySpace site http://www.myspace.com/magali_luyten. She also has a web-site - which can be linked from the myspace site! Again - it's great to have a powerful female voice included on the album. I'm really looking forward to finding out who the other 11 vocalists are going to beSmile

I hope the music is at least somewhat similar to THE with the use of classical instruments and all that. I don't remember what the Universal Migrator sounded like though... wasn't it more spacey and keyboard-loaded?

I hoped it wasn't going to have anything to do with space either (I don't care for it), but with lyrics like "Ride the comet!"... yeah. :/

I would say that Universal Migrator would be more likely though.
