BIO

Duo from Argentina.

Roxana Truccolo, singer, bass player, piano player and composer, met Carlos Lucena (Nexus axeman) in 2002. After working together as musicians and producers, they formed the band Alma, combining progressive folk, celtic melodies, plus Renaissance and Baroque music, filtered through a prog-rock sensibility. The resultant style is very eclectic and accessible at the same time. They are often seen as a side project by members of Nexus, even when the incorporation of Truccolo to that band occurred later on.

The track Madrugada includes Ricardo Soulé (Vox Dei frontman) on violin, and No Confíes, the only heavy song in the tracklist, is a worthy cover of Leonor Marchesi (Púrpura frontwoman), the remaining tracks are penned by Lucena & Truccolo.
