Just a few spurious characters to fix in the bio and the most recent album if you are able to do it yourself, otherwise I'll ask the E&O team to have a look at them.

Two were my fault - for not checking bits of text in the biography that I'd copied from other websites thoroughly for the curved apostrophes that our software doesn't like - line 6: (Ludovic?s) and line 19: (San Francisco?s).

The others are the character É in the biography, which has been reproduced twice as in line 13: (BALD, Christophe MA), and then the accented characters in the 1st two lines of the guest musicians in the 'Strange Destinations' album, where we have:

- Fran?ois Gomez / bass (3, 4, 6, 9, 11)
- Serge Ar?se / bass (2, 5, 7, 8, 12)

All the accented characters have come out correctly in the self-titled debut album though.

I'm gonna edit as soon as I can. Smile

The View Inside (formerly known as Briand Boursin Rohr).

This band might well be considered too far inclined towards the AOR side of things overall to get accepted for inclusion here, but they have released two really excellent albums thus far - both with a fair smattering of prog imho - and a lot of visitors to this site are certainly going to enjoy this music immensely, so I make no apologies for suggesting them! Embarrassed

Ludovic BRIAND is a singer-songwriter based in the south-east of France. He was born into a family of musicians and traded in his trumpet for a guitar at the age of 12, later becoming known as a product specialist/demonstrator for Fender, Bose, Line6/Yamaha and Fibenare. Over the years, he has also been a part of many musical projects, working with international artists including Gregg BISSONETTE, Dave WECKL, Bobby KIMBALL and Tanya Michelle SMITH.

Ludovic’s first self-produced album, the mostly instrumental 'Afrodiziak', was released in 2013. The arrival of 'The View Inside' in February 2020 marked his debut as a full fledged lead singer. For this, he joined forces with Julien BOURSIN (keyboards) and Matt ROHR (lyrics, production) to write and compose the album under the name 'BRIAND BOURSIN ROHR', also featuring a number of prestigious guest musicians such as Simon PHILLIPS (TOTO), Gregg BISSONETTE (Joe SATRIANI, David Lee ROTH) and Levon MINASSIAN (Peter GABRIEL).

Julien BOURSIN began playing piano in the early 1990s at the age of 16. Passionate about music and heavily influenced by African rhythms, he soon went professional, accompanying artists like Pablo VILLAFRANCA, William BALDÉ, CLARIKA, Christophe MAÉ, THE GYPSY KINGS, Tina ARENA and Gilberto GIL. An endorsement with Yamaha led him to regularly share the stage with renowned drummers such as Dave WECKL, Larnell LEWIS, Nicolas VICCARO, Simon PHILLIPS and Gregg BISSONETTE. In 2017, Julien began playing with the group HYLEEN, accompanying them on their world tour.

Matt ROHR is a Californian native formerly based in the San Francisco Bay Area who is best known for his engineering work on a string of gold and platinum records in the 1990s. From his early days of sweeping floors at San Francisco’s semi-legendary Hyde Street Studios, Matt had the good fortune to be hired as a staff engineer for producer Narada Michael WALDEN. He went on to engineer and mix for other successful producers including Louis BIANCANIELLO and Corrado RUSTICI before taking a lengthy break in the 2000s.

In 2010, Matt formed Hypostatic Records in order to promote the kind of melodic rock and pop he has always been partial to.

'The View Inside' is a concept album about Walter, an orphan born with a strange ocular power and the peculiar events that lead him toward his destiny. Based on an original story by Ludovic and Matt, the 11 tracks describe his struggle from innocence through madness and ultimately transcendence. Composing and arranging the music and writing the story occurred in the south of France, Paris and Los Angeles over three years, and the band exploits a diversity of musical genres to create an album lying somewhere on the intersection of prog, pop and AOR.

In April 2023, following a change of band name to The View Inside, the trio released their follow up album called 'Strange Destinations'. Its twelve tracks continue the story of Walter as his adventure moves to a higher plane of astral travel and multiple realities, leading him ever further in his search for knowledge and the ultimate source of his being.

The singer's vocal delivery and the overall style of the band's music often reminds me of Spock's Beard.

Edit: The band was added to Progfreak (now rebranded as TagYourMusic) by Uwe (Rivertree) about four days ago: https://tagyourmusic.org/artists/20859.
