 Dear friends
After “De Mutation en Mutation” that was mostly recorded as a “one man project” and “HET!” that was a fully improvisational album, « HORDHEN » is the third full length release by Dolorosa.Drawing inspiration from different 70’s rock subgenres such as Krautrock, Zeuhl, Prog, Atmospheric rock, but also from Metal, this output features 8 brand new tracks. Each one builds on a single guitar loop to which more arrangements are added. Beyond the obvious guitar and bass lines, more unexpected instruments like saxophones, clarinets, EWI and the trademark scissors and brushes can be heard throughout the album. As another special feature, instead of the usual drums, a full set of percussions was used. The two-piece band had great pleasure collaborating with singer Marie Catherine Mossé on several titles. Her voice most certainly brings the music to a whole new scale.
Additional guest: Jean-Paul Pesty on one track.
The album’s cover and booklet feature astonishing photography by Franck Labat. His visuals perfectly complement the solemnity of Dolorosa’s magnifcent sound cathedrals.

HORDHEN is listenable and available (beautiful digipack) here : acel1.bandcamp.com and here on the official bandcamp : https://dolorosa.bandcamp.com/album/hordhen
Thanks for your help and support
Cheers
