Yeah, i'm sort of the same way. I only like a few songs here and there. The early albums are really boring IMHO

Eklundh's two first Freak Guitar albums though are two of my all time faves

I saw a guy wearing a Freak Kitchen shirt at a Haken concert. I think that was the first time (or one of the first times I've heard of them). I'm guessing that guy doesn't like Yes.
