Hated to vote against the 'Graafs, but ELP is quite formidable.

I actually thought PA would sway towards VDGG on this one!

Welp, I pick ELP.

Now THIS is a tough one!
H to He is the album that finally enabled me to "get" VDGG/Peter Hammill, but
ELP's debut is one of those albums whose initial burst onto the music scene (or, into my world) can NEVER be minimized.

ELP is a beautiful album even though I'm otherwise not much of an ELP fan. I generally prefer VDGG, but H to He isn't at the very top of their discography, so this is very hard. Ultimately VDGG wins by a hair.

VDGG - H to He, Who Am The Only One
No, I know how to behave in the restaurant now, I don't tear at the meat with my hands. If I've become a man of the world somehow, that's not necessarily to say I'm a worldly man.

He to He is more 'interesting' but I guess I listen to the ELP debut more, so with some reluctance ELP gets the vote here.
Ultimately bored by endless ecstasy!
